20 weeks and 23 months!!!

Half way there with my last pregnancy!

Hard to believe at times.

I bought a super cute little newborn outfit today and I still can't believe a tiny baby from inside me will wear that and be in my arms.

11 lbs gained- feeling good and craving a tuna sandwich.

On to our princess! Ohana you are 23 months old.

Full of joy and happiness. Starting to notice what you wear and have opinions about it.

You can count to 10 in English and Spanish.

You love to draw little and big circles on paper over and over.

So many teeth and bright blue eyes.

Only wearing 18 month clothes.

You are talking in so many 3 and 4 word sentences. Amazing.

You also have a unique way of copying the tone of what is being expressed to you.

You love to notice new things and pronounce "look at that!"

You are loving other little babies and will be a great little/big sister.

This is a special edition because we know the gender of our third baby due June 5th.

Better than a Keurig because you can use any coffee and don't have to buy those expensive k-cups.

18 Weeks- take 2

In trying to keep track of my third baby bump, I'm going to try to do something a little extra for baby #3 that Boyd has lovingly nicknamed "angus". We find out gender next Monday so it will be quite funny if the baby is a girl.

Baby you are 18 weeks growing and I can feel you move. This week I have craved popcorn and sweet popcorn balls. You are the length of a bell pepper and your ears are now distinctly separated from your head. I have gained 10lbs so far and am most comfortable wearing leggings and dresses which can be difficult on cold days.

Doing a little reflecting of 2011 the Smiley Family has gone through another year of transitions.

Some easier than others. We are so thankful for all our friends and family both old and new.

We are amazed and grateful for the new job Boyd has- getting back his career of choice.

Moving to another city and making new friends has proven a challenge, but again, we are hopeful for what is to come for our family in 2012.

My resolution is simple.

Be Joyful and Give Thanks!

Ohana you are becoming such a little person.

You grow and learn each day.

You can now say all your ABC's with just a couple of errors.

You can sing twinkle twinkle with only a couple of errors too.

You can count to 10 but for 6,7 you say "second" which is precious.

When we ask you "why"? you say "because", plain and simple.

You can climb in the bathroom cabinets to turn on the water and brush your teeth.

You love horses and farm animals.

You name baby Jesus in the Nativity.

You name mu jewelry daily and are disappointed when I'm not wearing earrings.

You can put a shirt on by yourself.

You are full of joy and hugs and kisses.

You love Piper and hug her every day

You are so funny and make everyday bright.

You love candy and food in general.

Sometimes you change your shoes 2 times a day which is funny now, but trouble for your teen years;)

The mentor mom from my MOPS small group invited us up to their property to bring home a tree. The kids were so excited and so was Piper since she got to come along!

It's a snowy day so I thought, let's work on the gingerbread house today!

It has simple instructions on the back of the box.

Well, simple if you're Martha Stewart, or maybe an engineer.

I already knew ours wouldn't look like the box, but it's probably the farthest thing from it.

I put so much icing to hold it together...

But it kept falling.

I got it to stay for about 10 minutes and finally brought it to the table for the kids to put the candy on it...

Oh well... we can just start eating it that much faster...

I'd love to say my toddlers did that icing job, but it was me... you can laugh, I did.

If we do this again, Boyd gets to build it.

The kids decorated the trees and flakes and I made the garland to display them.

This is our first annual Advent calendar. Each envelope has a little activity that we will do.

Things like decorate our tree, look at lights, make hot cocoa, and learn about the nativity.

Next Monday we are going to the North Pole!

There are so many very fancy and crafty advent calendars you can make, but I like our simple one. The kids are already so excited for each one.

21 months old and going large

Yesterday our sweet girl turned 21 months!

She is getting so big and fun!

Ohana can say her ABC's to K.

She loves to sing and dance.

She loves to make "coffee" and draw.

She has so many words, over 150 if I had to guess.

Her multiple word phrases are off the chart too!

She loves pointing out eyebrows and chins as she learns more body parts.

She can now climb into her car seat all by herself and is desperately trying to put on her shoes, socks and zip her coat herself.

We love you so much!

Mommy could kiss you all day and often does.

Your brother loves you very much too even though it doesn't always seem that way.

Today was just a rough day all around.

I almost skipped doing 10 on to but it's part of my goal for the year.

Yep, it's a snowy day here!

The kids could hardly wait to go play in it.

First getting suited to go outside is quite a process.

This is Ohana's first snow that she is aware of.

Enjoying it so much even though she can't really walk in her gear.

A little rest and relaxation was had in 24 hours in Buena Vista with our wonderful friends the Rices. They live here:

Last weekend we went to Rock Ledge Farm's fall festival. It was 80 degrees and we were with our new friends from swim class.

All the kids on old farm equipment... not one is looking at the camera.

My September Craft

I know it's October 7th already, but I did do my monthly craft for September and didn't want any disappointed readers to miss out:) These are inspired via Pinterest and created in pages on our macbook!

This hangs in our entry... I smile when I read it and it is a good reminder for our family and home.

These will hang in our living room which is our toy room as well. They are just cute!

So there's my crafting. Crazy I know. I'm just getting warmed up to make some awesomeness for Halloween and Christmas!

Also to come... a 3 room preview of the house transformation. I wanted to do it all at once, but we are in a holding pattern on several rooms due to projects needing more time.

Last week we all went on vacation.

I visited my BFF in PA with a very short trip in to New York City.

Here are some of my highlights...

We were in the city for only about 5 hours, but I do heart NYC!

I'm trying hard to keep my 30 birthday goals (40 being the new 30)

Some are daily, some monthly and some are a one shot deal.

I'm trying to do 1 craft per month to build my craft confidence and explore my creative side.

Here's what I did this month.

Found this frame for .99cents at Goodwill and it had the potato sack like material on it already. I turned it into an earring holder that is hanging on my bedroom wall. For all you uber crafters out there, this counts. My list, my rules, my crafts... it counts.

Then via Pinterest, I found this idea for a T-shirt summer scarf! Found the tee at GW for $1.99 and now it's my scarf. I have big plans for T-shirt scarves this fall and holiday season.

So there it is... goal accomplished!

Last ten days or so...

We've done more than I realize in the last 10 days or so

These first shots started with Boyd having an idea to tie our 2 big dump truck toys together and Rigel saying... "yeah that's a good idea" I was reluctant, but so far it has been a big source of laughs in our house.

Just last night, she pushed him too... photo next time that happens

These were from a few night ago, but we had this kind of rain today too. It lasts like 30 min and it's crazy!

Today we went to Ikea... that place is crazy! We were there almost 2 hrs and got a lot of little things to help fix up the house... we should have the big reveal photos in a couple of weeks... we get behind a lot and only have nap time to work... it sucks, but it is coming, I promise!

18 months!

It's been a hectic week. Our washing machine broke.

We lost hot water for a day.

We had 2 major outings and are still unpacking!

During all of that, Ohana turned 18months!!!!!!!!

She's gone from this...

To this! Right before our eyes! She's SOOOOO sweet and affectionate.

She is smart and has a very independent side to her. She can say over 75 words according to the list I keep. She just repeated saying 1-10 in Spanish!

She loves her brother and family and wearing hats. She still eats well though is very petite.

She is adventuresome but doesn't like to pool even though she loves taking a bath.

She is learning more than I can keep up with.

She brings daily joy to our family despite chaotic times. She has 8 new teeth!

She loves laps and being held and riding in the stroller.

She just started asking to watch shows, but doesn't really watch them.

She dances when she hears music.

She likes to brush her teeth, wash her hands and put toys away which is good because her brother us messy!

WE LOVE YOU OHANA ISABELLA!!!!!!!!!!!

Ten on Ten-- my first edition

A wonderful blogger out there has this ongoing entry on every 10th of the month to capture the beauty in everyday life. I have wanted to try this for many many months. As part of 30 being the new 40, one of my goals is to try ten on ten monthly for the next year. The official rules are to take one photo per hour. As a mom of 2 toddlers, that rule is loose. I would have been done by 3:00 today if I did that and would not be sharing the last image of my ten. Enjoy!

Earlier this week, we took a day trip to Pikes Peak.

I guess we are being tourists down here to get to know the area.

You can drive all the way to the top-- 14,110 ft closer to heaven.

What a view!

The cog railway-- Rigel went crazy over the train and begged us to let him on.

40 is the new 30!

I am 40! Maybe if I say it enough, I'll actually believe it!

My attitude is 40 is the new 30! I stole that from someone else's blog, but it feels about right for my life and lifestyle. July 25th, 2011- I also copied this same blogger who made a list of 30 things to do the year of being 40. I won't bore you with my whole list but a few are:

re-string my grandma's pearls and wear them just because, take a basic photo class and take our kids next birthday photos, do 1 new craft each month, go scuba diving, visit at least 1 of my top 10 places I'd like to visit in the U.S., finish all my unfinished photo albums, dance with Boyd in the rain... you get the idea.

Anyway to kick off being 40, here's what we did.

Breakfast at the Olive Branch

Date night at the Blue Star.

We started to go to another restaurant that was only doing a happy hour night and closing at 9pm.

We didn't want to feel rushed having arrived there at 8pm so they sent us to the Blue Star where we were greeted to a reserved booth, champagne and free dessert! Not too shabby!

So here's to 30 in 40! I'm sure I'll post about most of the goals throughout the year.

Tea at the Castle

As part of my 40th birthday we went for Sunday tea at Glen Eyrie Castle.

Ohana and I are in our hats and white eyelet dresses- I guess I like matching more than I thought:)

They had a great time despite looking so serious.

It's not easy to get a good family shot with these to busy toddlers.

Mmmm scones and devonshire cream.

Yep, she wore the hat the whole time and then some- she REALLY likes hats!

She mostly ate scones and fruit. Once she saw the grapes, that's really all she ate.

17 on the 16th!

Ohana is 17 months old today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She LOOOVES her "buba" and even keeps him company when he gets time out!

She's a climber!

She likes "trucks" and doesn't mind the lack of "girl toys"

She loves books and this is the face I usually get when the camera is out. She says "cheee"!

A favorite is going "side"! (outside)

We feel so blessed by her happy heart and love for everyone

I've been slacking in the picture taking department. We just finished our 4th move in less than 3 years. Moving is just plain icky! Anyway, often she puckers up for a kiss and then tells me "thank you"! She has no idea how often this makes my day.

Speaking of her constant chatter, she can now say over 40 words! Some are hard to decipher, but she uses them consistently and in correct context so I know they are true words and not just her cute baby babble. She loves baths, riding her bike, eating, nursing, putting toys away since one of her most common phrases is "put back".

She talks on the play phone, likes putting on shoes, washing her hands, wearing hats, still eats veggies, draws chalk on the driveway, and tells us in a couple of ways that she is peeing and pooping in her diaper. She makes backing up beeping noises when she backs up on a ride on toy or even into our laps!

She still doesn't like cold milk.

Welcome to our rental house... let's tour a bit shall we?

This is a study in wall paper sine two-thirds of the house is covered in it.

We will be tearing it ALL down and repainting almost every interior wall!

Time to put all the time watching HGTV to good use!

Rigel's room... he might like sports, but the border still goes! Soon to be blue, not because he's a boy, but because he likes it and it goes really well with Orange- his fave!

And best for last, our golden vanity countertop! I decided it is just a rental so I get this baby for 2 whole years! It could be worse I guess

So that's the quick tour... we will post photos of all the new fresh paint jobs and those amazing laminate floors being installed this week! We spared you the 1/2 bath on the main floor- it has wall paper too.

And we didn't reveal the basement. It's like a dungeon... dark wood paneling and crazy leopard-like shag carpet. We leaving all that too since we won't use that space much.

We also have a great yard and are just 2 blocks from the YMCA!

We got invited to the Fletcher's 4th of July bash... so fun since I just met her last week on a mtn. mama hike! Thanks for including us Fletchers!!!

Ohana spent most of her time walking around and eating all the yummy food... I swear she has a hallow leg or something!

And this is where Rigel spent most of his time... we actually took them both swimming earlier in the day, but glad he enjoyed it nonetheless!

Boyd let Rigel stay up to see the fireworks at the Air Force Academy since you can catch the action from the neighborhood... he did great staying up till 10:00pm.

Hot day in Manitou

We continue to explore life in the Springs so today we went to down town Manitou. We only went into a couple of shops and had lunch at great spot on the creek. The kids loved these "love birds" and the old time amusement rides. We tasted the mineral spring water that flows out of spouts all around town. Fun family time!

I was keeping it as maybe her birthday dress, but no... so with Easter coming I thought it would work but it needed an update. Boyd got a call at 11:00am today from his new job asking him to start today instead of May 1st. I guess I forgot how horrible it is to have the flu... really can't remember the last time I did. My temp has gone from 100.4 to 102.4 to 103.3 just this morning. It is sucking the life out of me... and snot, phlegm... okay back on topic.

Thank God Boyd's schedule is super flexible right now because I honestly don't know how you can care for your 2 small children with a fever, cough and literally blowing my nose every 2 minutes when it's at it's worst. Boyd has been amazing doing everything for the kids. We've had a couple of sunny days too so they went to the park today and had lunch out in the back yard! Hooray for Daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are not large people. We try to eat mostly healthy. My husband weighs as much as he did in high school, which wasn't much. Today at Ohana's 1 year well baby check, she was off the scale for her weight. At a mere 15lb 11oz our girl needs more fat! She is 24% for height and 6% for her head circumference. So here are some of the things we are to try... heavy whipping cream in her already full-fat milk, scrambled egg yolks with mayo, adding sour cream or cream cheese to foods, maybe some coconut oil in her oatmeal... and I won't bore with the rest. Our girl loves to eat so that is not the issue. She just has good genes and will hopefully thank us in her teen and early 20's! She is healthy and perfect in every way!

Hard to believe 12 short months ago my baby girl graced our family at 10:33 in the morning after 10 hours of labor and a few strong pushes! She is everything precious to me. Such a happy girl with tons of smiles for everyone. We took advantage of the nice day and went to Pearl Street for some lunch and playtime with Granny in tow. Check back this weekend to see the 1st birthday party fun and of course eating of the cake! We love and adore you sweet, sweet Ohana!!!!!!!!

We are new members to the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden and we love it! There are tons of trains to see and climb into and on the weekends you get to ride the real thing. For the holidays, it's the Santa Express. Santa was not on the train but he was in the depot. The best part was that we got a tip from one of the trustees that you can also ride in the "pop" car! What a treat for 2, 2 year old boys!

I love that our tree came from a lot that helps thin the forrest. It was hard for Boyd to pay for a tree since we usually cut one from his dad's property. But it's Ohana's first tree and Rigel helped decorate it. Having a live reindeer at the lot was also fun.

Little crouper trooper

Croup is a nasty viral sickness that is going around here. It's best known for its seal like barking cough. Ohana is not barking but her cough is harsh. We got the only medication that helps with the cough symptom. She also spent time in a steamy bathroom last night and then out in to the cold night air- also to help her cough. Her night was better, but not great. Luckily she is still nursing like a champ and was able to come into bed, nurse, and sleep next to me for a few hours- then the cough came back. The night before, Boyd and I took turns in her rocker all night while she went from sleeping to coughing to crying then to sleep again.

Despite all of this, she still smiles at everyone who catches her eye.

I caught this shot right as I put her down for her nap this morning... almost makes up for it all.

We are big on money saving around here. I really never pay full price for anything. On top of that, I'm learning about cash back shopping, coupon sites and just plain earning free stuff. So far I've earned $60 in FREE amazon gift cards for just searching the internet the way I normally would. We will pay for the kids Christmas gifts with this as well as maybe a little reward for myself for being able to earn free money! None if this is that hard and it has literally paid off for us as we are thinking of the holidays! It actually makes shopping fun and in ways, stress free. Happy shopping everyone. I thought I was one of "those" people... natural birthing, recycling, bargain finding, blogging, non-hfcs eating (high-fructose corn syrup), tech savvy people... but maybe I'm not. I'm good at multi-tasking but maybe just not that good at any one thing. In fact I'm pretty average at most things. I usually want the average of what I do to be just a little better. I love my friend Melissa. I email her at least once weekly about how she "did" something. She is sweet enough to tell me and so I dream of being her pesky neighbor. Basically I wish she would mentor me about how she "does life". Just in the little things like blogging, making jams, sewing something and creating fun things that she just likes! Well here's the latest deal from Shutterfly. We have made 4 photos books from them just for the cost of shipping. We will do this I'm sure as we got our last years cards free too... why wouldn't you. Hopefully she won't kill me for making my post about her! She taught me how to have "links" in my posts;)

Tonight our friends had a Halloween party. They are the type that go all out! The front yard is a cemetery, there are zombies dining at a table on their front porch, the bathroom has a "psycho" shower curtain, there are fake mice hanging from the chandeliers... and on and on. So we do our obligatory dress up and walk the few blocks to their house for the festivities.

Ohana had to have a tutu costume... come on... so baby chick she is! I coordinated as a farmer. Cheesy, I know. I need to get a better shot of Rigel as Tigger and Boyd was a 'Zoo Keeper' to go with our little Tiger, I mean, Tigger!

Fall Fun

Realities

Inspired by a friend's blog who is real enough and vulnerable enough to share the not so pretty side of life, I think it is time for my heart to share some of the Smiley reality here.

It has been 2 years since Boyd lost his job. A job he loved so much! Just that makes me sigh deeply. We have lost so much, our home, most of our savings, many things we took for granted like TV, cable, pedicures, coffee dates with friends, eating out, new clothes when we want them, certain grocery food items... you name it and we can save you money on it or tell you why it's not an essential to daily living. In this respect we have gained a lot too. We live very intentionally. We are in a house almost a third of what we lost. We rent now. It's humbling in so many ways like it or not. Life is so messy!

Another reality is the emotional toll of the last 2 years. Yes, we are closer to the Father. We cry out to Him much of the time. This is wonderful, yet still painful. We also feel so isolated and alone most of the time. We are a family that LOVES community. From this "disaster" in our lives, we have become lonely sojourners. Like the victims of Katrina, the tsunami or even 911, we feel people have moved on from help in our time of need, yet here we are in the midst of it... still. We still don't have money for most things, yet we have just what we need, no more, no less. Our deepest desires to be "fully known and fully loved" still hang in the balance.

I just took a 7 day break from Facebook (i'm addicted) and realized what a false sense of relationship it is. No one has called. No one has emailed. I'm still here. I still want friends. I still want to belong and feel included. I hate how "high school" it feels to chase friends and beg to be included and invited to only watch people go to lunch, have play dates or take weekend getaways and seemingly never take a second glance in our direction.

Is there a greater purpose in all this? We hope so... but we still don't know. It's hard to live on that hope day in and day out. We continue to seek jobs, options, make goals and plans... we know God is in control... but let's not kid ourselves, the wounds are still healing... slowly. Our marriage has been tested... over and over... and will continue to be.

So I'm going back to work part-time, mostly from home to continue my main job as a mommy. Yes, I'm fortunate for the opportunity. Boyd is working tirelessly to sell insurance... we are FAR from out of the woods. He made $300 last month... I'll make enough for rent, some daycare for Rigel so I can get work done at home... but there are still many physical and emotional needs for our family. At the same time, we seek to know how to live in this new state of alone. We pray it will change, but it might not. It might be a whole new season of life for us that could last another 2 years... or more... another big sigh.

So reality will move on... and we are tested, but continue to fight, we are alone, yet still have each other and the Lord, we are beaten, yet will get up and continue to hope for the future set before us... we can only do this because of our hope, faith and trust in Jesus. So to our 5 followers of this blog... pray for us if you feel led. We hope our reality it not yours in any way. But we would welcome you in to our circle and would love a partner along the way to His perfect will for our lives. We hope you treat our reality and vulnerability kindly.

Fall Festival

We got to have a very special family day today at the Dolenc farm. They had their Fall Festival to raise money for their adoption. There was paddle boat rides, zip line, fishing, pony rides, crafts, food and lots of fun! Ohana even got her 2 seconds of action on the pony.

We have this wonderful grapevine that grows on the fence in our backyard. I thought it would just be sour grapes. but oh no, these are quite delicious and Rigel loves a good grape!

On the Ohana front, we tried rice cereal for the first time yesterday. She was so happy to finally be getting something after her lunges for our food, but I don't think she expected "food" to be so bland. We'll likely mix in some veggies next time.

Our week

The puppies are now 8 weeks and ready to go to their new homes. We haven't sold them all. We may have to "foster" some of them until we can find them new families to live with.

Rigel has really been in to holding Ohana. Not just holding her, laying down with Ohana on his belly. It's pretty cute but sometimes he wants to hold her when she's nursing too. They are developing a cute sibling relationship.

We went to the Boulder Reservoir to have a fun summer activity and be in the water to cool down. It went pretty well since Boyd came along too!

Long overdue at updating. We were in Cali for 12 days so I'll try to catch things up in one post. First my mission~ learn how to blog better and more efficiently. Use the tools better like having captions right under the photos and maybe even those slide show and links to things I talk about. It's a process...

Anyway after Crested Butte, my 39th (I mean 29th) birthday came. Boyd and Ohana were my dates! We had lunch at the Med and walked the Pearl St. Mall in Boulder. It was a lovely day.

We have been playing with potty training Rigel. He had a small success in the right direction. He sat on the potty and peed- now only if the pee would land IN the potty and not all across the bathroom rug- yuck! We did update his potty to have more of a "splash guard" thanks to Ikea!

Which is a great transition in to our Cali trip. We made it to the beach and the mountains. We are lacking photos, but we were there. There is one of a kind of planned outfit matching with my mom. She bought her dress and Ohana's romper and we just happened to have this shirt along for Rigel. Picture perfect.

Whew... probably enough for now... but wait... how could I forget the puppies!!!!!

Pipers pups are 6 weeks old and the cutest darn little doggies you have ever seen. They all seem to have her sweet and yes MELLOW temperament. Yes they play, they are puppies, but really they are so calm and sweet. We are NOT keeping any. But one could be yours! Just call me! They are goldendoodles so shedding will be to a very minimum if at all.

All of you who have seen Rigel know of his beautiful golden curls. They have been getting pretty long in back, so long, that they can be braided and that braid stays for days! I love his hair and have secret dreams of him in baby gap ads. So today I cut the curly tail. I saved it. So for you Kristy it is done. And Vic, I'm sorry we didn't let it go no matter what, but I guess if baby gap discovers him it had to be done. It did hurt me more than him. Crested Butte Highlights

We took the challenge to help our friend Kristy with her girls while she taught tap at Dansummer in CB. The setting was amazing. Many wildflowers and many wild kid moments. All in all we survived, even Ohana's growth spurt of 3 nights eating every 2 hours!!!!! That wasn't fun. But Rigel got his fill of the girls. He loves them so much, sometimes too much!

A lot going on with the kidlets... Ohana is a drool machine! No teeth since big brother did the same. Just lots o' drool. She also like to go stiff leg so with a little support, she can stand on her own! Rigel is into so much (in a good way) building with his mega blocks and the trains!!!!!! My sister saved all their train stuff (a ton!) and he gets to make Sodor Island (the place where Thomas the train lives) in our living room.

A Mother's Work...

We had a fun mother's day today with the highlight being brunch at the Greenbriar in Boulder. I had lofty plans of being pampered all day and getting lots of extra sleep.... but alas, a mother's work is never done. I had an extra early morning feeding with Ohana, she didn't sleep through the whole brunch (which should have been nap time) and did 2 loads of laundry along with Boyd doing a big load of diapers! As I sit and write though, I can look out my front window and see Rigel riding his daddy's shoulders while he mows the lawn... my baby girl is softly sleeping in the other room... wait... gotta run... baby's up and Rigel wants to come back inside~ Happy Mother's Day!

Today is the day just 2 short years ago I gave birth to this bundle of joy. He is in to everything. He is so smart and can speak over 300 words! He loves his family and he loves dump trucks! Granny and Poppy bought him this one with the dough they sent- thank you!

Boyd has just finished his spring break and we were able to do so many things as a family this past week. Always easier with an extra set of hands. Ohana also had her first smile 3 days ago. Right before Timber had to be put down. Yesterday we went to the Aquarium in Denver. Surprisingly our favorite thing were the Tigers! Not of any less significance, Ohana's baby quilt was finished and now resides in her beautiful nursery. Enjoy the photos!

In Loving Memory...

Last night we had to put our beloved dog Timber to sleep. As it turns out he had cancer and kept the symptoms from us until he could not hide them anymore. It was very sudden and unexpected. Luckily we got to say our good byes and be with him in his last breath.

Timber was 12 years old and was a great dog who loved his pack and provided years of companionship running, hiking and hanging out. We will miss him greatly.

One Month and Counting

Well Ohana has passed the one month mark and is doing great. We had a bout of flu for Rigel and Boyd but Dena and Ohana did not get it thank the Lord. Sleep is getting better but still elusive. Here are some pictures from the past week and our trip to the zoo today.

Ohana's umbilical cord stump came off last week but with two babies in the house it took us a while to get to her first bath. She cried at first but then really liked it. Her hair is now even softer and she smells even sweeter.
